Conavio

is a nutritional app that helps users organize recipes, create nutritional plans, and buy their groceries all directly from the app.

Project Objective

Design the central UX/UI for the Conavio MVP. These foundations will be used to gather user feedback, and iterate moving forward.

The SlowLettuce team’s knowledge of process and strategy was essential in helping us navigate the early stages of product development. We’re really happy with the resulting UX, and so are our beta testers!

Project Process

Audit & Orientation

The first stage of any project is to download the exisiting materials from our client. After digesting these, we pitch the concept back to the creators themselves to ensure we’re well synced.

User Journey Mapping

User journey mapping quickly becomes the central collaborative format to explore user experience. Here we can identify knots, review scope, and enjoy a board overview of the project as it evolves.

Prototyping & User Testing

Click-dummy prototypes are great for bringing userflows to life and are a quick, inexpensive way to gather feedback early in the design process.

Style Guides & Component Library

Well-organized documentation ensures a smooth hand-off to the in-house tech team. The style guides and component library were accompanied with exported assets and user flow maps.

As we are continously improving the way we deliver high quality outcomes, it was great that Jeremy was so well integrated into that process. The quality and organisation of the design hand-off is a great baseline for high autonomy development teams.
